THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD

On March 8th 1971 in Madison Square Garden the story of, what was seen by Black people as the Black Messiah pugilizing the stereotypical cotton Picker played out in the boxing ring in front of famous pimps, infamous hustlers, The Rat Pack, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Bill Cosby, Barbara Striesand, Woddy Allen, Bob Dylan, Diane Keaton, Ted Kennedy and Gene Kelly. It was broadcasted in movie theaters around the world as a cinematic production thus making it the greatest cinematic story ever told. Negritbe’s CEO Michael Elton Casey has constructed a screen writing workshop based off the elements of this fight.

Meet the Character World Metamorphasis- The part of the story where the heightened world has been transformed by having the story world and the character world merge- The ring is filled with a litany of individuals after the fight. At this point you the writer become a character in your own script.

Meet the World’s Roar– The part of the story where the character’s world change causes the outside world to change- The crowd roars in anticipation

Meet Security– Part of the story where the rest of the story world is kept from the character world- Security guards keep additional people outside the ring

Meet the Conference– the part of the story where the protagonist revisits his inspiration, his hype man/ emotional motivations- Ali confers with Bundini Brown

Meet the Score/The Judging- The part of the story where it’s inner voice reveals how the Protagonist was judged- Ali and Frazier are given their score’s by the announcer- Beat 18

Meet the Exodus– The part of the story where fate leaves the story world for the antagonist’s lair- Frazier leaves the ring headed for the tunnel

Meet the Mayhem/The Climax– The part of the story where the character world leaves it’s confines and spills into the story world and chaos ensues.  –Beat 19

Meet the Robbery– The part of the story where the Protagonist realizes that he was robbed by fate- The commentators agree that the fight was close even though it was a landslide unanimous decision by the judges

Meet The Humiliation of Archie Moore– The part of the story where Mr. Charlie belittles Black cultural dominance to uplift the white power structure- even though, technically, the Protagonist lost, he really won, but what was ultimately denounced was blackness. –the commentator berates and belittles Archie Moore by publically scoffing at his getting knocked out by Rocky Marciano. Archie Moore is the longest heavyweight titleholder in history- Beat 20

Meet the Get Back– The part of the story where the voice of blackness rebukes or defies the white power structure for mocking Black culture- Archie Moore suggests that Muhammad Ali and his brother Rahman Ali were slighted on the cards with their losses, with Rahaman loosing to an Irish fighter

Meet the Trial – The part of the story where the Protagonist comes to terms with the fact that he’s being tried by the judicial system which is that which torments his psyche- the commentator references that Ali is on trial with the Supreme Court and Ali surely faced the reality of his potential loss of freedom- Beat 21

Meet the Restoration– The part of the story where the image of the protagonist fallen is an image of his grandeur- the movie of the fight ends with Ali on the ground but the life spark that started in the story world and pierced through the character world dissolved into the hand of the Ali. He’s got the whole world in his hand, the whole wide world in his hand.
